Since the release of Electrik Lemonade’s last single, We Know This in late 2016, Funk/Soul/Hip-Hop powerhouse Electrik Lemonade, have been touring, writing and diversifying their sound. Their new single, “Apple Bottom” will be the 2nd single to feature from the very anticipated first full length album, due to be released in late 2018.

Following the overwhelming response and success of “We Know This,” which received incredible feedback after getting played on Triple J and regular rotation on community radio across the country, Electrik Lemonade is ready to hit the road again in celebration of their latest single release “Applebottom.” The party starts at the Solbar, Sunshine Coast this Saturday 12th May.


Prepare yourself for a hard hitting explosion of funk soul and hip hop in this new track. Dinner is served and it comes in the form of a full 3 course meal. The appetiser is a sexy hip swinging intro that is quickly followed by a well contrasted, full body riff that is guaranteed to get your taste buds utmost attention. Dessert is sweet, sour and packed to the roof with power. This double faceted flavour saver will enter your being through 2 masterfully crafted solos via Tricks on alto saxophone and Jakey D on guitar. From the fiery vocals in the verses, the adoring "woos" in the chorus to the dance of instruments through said solos, this song screams love.
